EDHECinfra Days 2018 Conference

The EDHECinfra Days will take place on June 6 & 7 in London and will discuss advanced approaches to modelling risk and valuing private assets in infrastructure investments. EDHECinfra Institute was launched in 2016 by the EDHEC Business School to address the profound knowledge gap faced by infrastructure investors, by collecting and standardising private investment and cash flow data and running state-of-the-art asset pricing and risk models to create the performance benchmarks that are needed for asset allocation, prudential regulation and the design of new infrastructure investment solutions. EDHECinfra currently has the world's largest dedicated database of infrastructure investment cash flows, covering more than 25 years of data and hundreds of projects across the globe

By creating both a benchmark and a standard for measuring the risk and the value of these projects, and with the support of sponsors like Natixis, LTIIA and the G20, EDHECinfra is helping this industry to enter a new phase of maturity.” Frédéric Blanc-Brude, Director, EDHECinfra

“This first EDHECinfra Days conference is designed to raise awareness of the EDHECinfra project, geared to building benchmark indices for investors in private infrastructure around the world" says Frédéric Blanc-Brude, Director of EDHECinfra Institute. "During the conference, the EDHEC Infrastructure Institute’s researchers and analysts are due to present methods and results that already provide a means of measuring the risk-adjusted performance of private-debt and capital investments in infrastructure projects in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. By creating both a benchmark and a standard for measuring the risk and the value of these projects, and with the support of sponsors like Natixis, LTIIA and the G20, EDHECinfra is helping this industry to enter a new phase of maturity.”

Conference will start with further research by the EDHECinfra Institute on the following topics:

  • Do we now have an infrastructure asset class?
  • Private asset valuation: The coming paradigm shift
  • A broad market benchmark of unlisted infrastructure equity
  • Infrastructure investor preferences survey

Further details can be found in the conference programme >>

The conference will be preceded on June 6 by a Masterclass on Infrastructure Debt Investment - 2018 Series Advanced techniques for asset owners and managers.
