In early November, the EDHEC Criminal Risks Management Chair, headed by Bertrand Monnet, launched a series of documentaries and articles entitled "Narco Business", in partnership with Le Monde. This investigation focuses on the fentanyl chain, from its manufacture by the Sinaloa cartel to its consumption in Manhattan, via money laundering in Dubai. Viewed more than 1.6 million times on Le Monde's Youtube channel, these documentaries "[...] allow us to meet a demanding 'general public' audience, which seeks to understand the issues and interactions of the criminal economy, the real cancer of our society" (Interview EDHEC Vox, B. Monnet).

How is the criminal economy organised? How does it feed itself and what does it earn? Who are the stakeholders? How can it be better controlled?

From Wednesday 6 March, and every Wednesday thereafter from 7-9pm, Bertrand Monnet takes a look at the economics of crime (in French).

These 5 evening courses, offered as part of the Ateliers du Monde programme, are available online or in Paris (75013) for a total registration fee of €128 or €116 for newspaper subscribers. They are organised as follows:
