After two consecutive cancellations of the physical event, the student organisers of the EDHEC Sailing Cup (Course Croisière EDHEC or CCE) have innovated and surprised us again! This year, they are organising a 100%-virtual EDHEC Sailing Cup on social networks from 16 to 22 April. Supported by NRJ and Studyrama, two prestigious media partners, the online event is designed so that any student can participate. Alone or in teams, students will have to overcome challenges set for them by the organisers and which reflect the major themes constituting the identity of what is Europe’s largest student event.  This year’ virtual EDHEC Sailing Cup (#CCEVirtuelle) promises to be high on surprises: 1 day, 1 theme, 1 challenge.

Thinking big, the students prospected some fantastic prizes, such as an all-inclusive day on the Team Jolokia boat partnered by Sopra Steria, or a driving licence offered by En Voiture Simone. In addition, reflecting their eagerness to have a positive impact both on the environment and their fellow students, the organisers of the EDHEC Sailing Cup 2021 also plan to re-use the prizes that had been prospected for this year’s physical edition and which had just been delivered.

The EDHEC Sailing Cup is aware of the particularly difficult circumstances for students at present and is flying the flag for EDHEC and refusing to be beaten. This virtual event will again give participants the chance to surpass themselves and to come together in small groups to overcome challenges in good spirits, and thereby to try and forget these particularly complex circumstances a little. Once again, the EDHEC Sailing Cup asserts its values of sport, sharing and the desire to excel oneself.
